English Conversation for Gerontologists
Are you preparing to present a paper in English?
Will you be speaking at a gerontology conference or poster session?
Are you planning a trip to the UK as part of your academic studies or work?
Do you lack the confidence to speak to gerontology colleagues in English?
If you would like a confidential space to practise or improve your English beforehand, I offer informal online conversation sessions for academic gerontologists.
We can meet 1-2-1 or you can arrange to bring along a group of up to 6 people.
1-2-1 Price
£20 for 30 minutes
£40 for one hour
Prices for group sessions are available on request.
All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and are inclusive of transfer or Paypal fees. Discounts are available if you book 5 or 10 sessions in advance.
What can we discuss?
We can have a general conversation or discuss a gerontology subject you will be presenting.
On the other hand, if you would prefer me to set the theme, I can start us off with a general topic related to later life.

If you choose the subject, please send me information about it beforehand. Even though I specialise in ageing, you are the expert in your particular field.
We can also discuss a paper you have written that I have already translated, revised or proofread. I enjoy journeying alongside my clients and seeing your English improve.

No Hidden Charges
I review my prices annually on April 6th and any change of price will automatically appear on this web page. If you sign up for a series of sessions, the price will be as you originally booked it. I never charge extra for bank transfer or Paypal fees. There are no hidden charges.
